What is Body Mobility?
Mobility is the overall range of motion a person has in their body – mainly within their joints. It refers to the way your joints move inside of their sockets. It’s incredibly important to our daily functioning and can also prevent you from getting injuries.
While flexibility refers to the ability to lengthen or hold a muscle in a stretch, mobility refers to the range of motion of your joints.
Our Mobility class is a 45-minute class focusing exclusively on Mobility exercises to promote better movement and improved functional range of motion. These exercises are specifically built towards training your range of motion around joints. They involve actively moving, contracting and relaxing muscles through the joints range of motion.
